Ajaya Sharma spoke with N Jayakumar, MD at Prime Securities on their 2022 outlook. He started off by talking about the recent market run up and that fundamentals need to catch up with the rally. Increased money inflow in the startup ecosystem has helped Indian markets offlate. For markets to sustain at these levels, he believes, we need corporate earnings to be higher than anticipated and that capex should increase. PSU's will have to take market leadership for capex to grow. He adds on to say that they have been extremely active in the start up space and that they have helped raise funds for diagnostics and fantasy gaming companies.
