ET NOW’s Ajaya Sharma learns from his sources that Agrochem major PI Industries is scouting for a meaningful acquisition in the pharma space and has Ind-Swift Labs on his radar. PI Industries had recently raised Rs. 2000cr via the QIP route and had earmarked the fund raise for acquisitions in the pharma space. As per sources, PI Industries is in active talks with Ind Swift Labs for a promoter stake buyout and had recently raised 2000cr via QIP marked for buyouts. The targeted company Ind-Swift Labs is a global manufacturer of APIs, Intermediates and formulations with promoter stake currently at 42%.
