Broader market look rather muted. Sectors like the banks, Realty, energy, infrastructure look weak while IT looks strong, FMCG gains and Pharma is in the green. Top nifty gainers include the IT heavyweights like HCL tech Infosys, Wipro, tech Mahindra on the back of the strong guidance revenue guidance given by Accenture. Hero mtoto, Bajaj Auto, L&T are gainers. Hdfc, Hdfc Bank, ONGC are week in trade. Within the broader universe trade remains lack lustre but names like in Indiabulls ventures, BEML,  Indiamart, Hindustan copper gain smartly. Defence stocks are active as the Defence Acquisition Council approves proposals to procure equipment worth `27,000 cr from domestic industry. Stocks in news also include TCS as the company's Rs 16,000-crore share buyback offer opens today, Dishman Carbogen on the OFS.
